Acknowledgments

I want to thank Bruce Musgrave, my longtime editor, for always believing in me. Bruce hired me fresh out of graduate school for my first teaching job, taking a risk on a young kid who did not know what he was getting into. I am grateful for that opportunity, his guidance, and the faith he has continued to show in me and my writing.

I also want to thank my wife, Elana, and my son, Gabe, for always supporting me and teaching me that the only thing more important than my students is my family.
